The word "siraj" means lantern. In the Qur'an, the Prophet ﷺ is described as a "luminous lamp" — and the Qur'an itself a guiding light. We chose the name as a reminder: we are not the light. The Qur'an is. Our work is only to hold the lamp steady.

Essiraj started from a simple observation: every Muslim family deserves a Qur'an app that feels like it belongs on their nightstand — beautiful, calm, honest, private. Not a product built for engagement metrics, but a companion built for the heart. We carry the full Qur'an, 27+ reciters, prayer times, qibla, adhkar, hifz tools and much more — all offline, all as sadaqah jariyah.
